Roland is known for producing quality synthesizers. Have you ever thought of a mighty but small synthesizer? Roland has produced a mighty synth known as Roland SH -201. It has plenty of knobs and switches that add up joy to play. Roland introduces this fun and the friendliest analog modelling synthesizer. This synth has so many great features that everyone loved. Some of these features are:

1.	Great-sounding analog-modeling synth
2.	Built-in delay, reverb, and overdrive effects,
3.	USB port for audio/MIDI connection to computer
4.	Ultra-EZ front panel is logically designed to teach the basics of synthesis
5.	VSTi Editor Software included for computer integration and so much more!

In using this synthesizer, here are some tips to consider:

1.	Familiarize top panel’s parts and features. Know its basic parts, its functions and its uses.

2.	You can start playing your own sound by turning on the power and go ahead play the paino. Adjust the volume using Master Vol knob. Its patches allows you to store timbres. Its OSC determines its waveform and pitch. You have to determine the waveform to use. Play the keyboard with your left hand and switch the waveforms using wave button. After that, determine the pitch.

3.	Familiarize yourself with its filter. Filter can emphasize and reject a selected frequency. Adjusting filters can affect and change the boldness and sounds brightness.

4.	AMP. AMP is responsible in the attack and decay of sounds. You can do this by pressing the Level knob left and right and listen to changes. You may control the attack and decay of sounds by ENV generator.

5.	Sound generator. Sounds generator produces low frequencies. This is also known as LSO. Press the Destination button and select your target for the LSO to process. If you wanted the filter to have grow effects select the Destination button and AMP for tremolo.
